Full Tang Integral 3 Part Tutorials and Ivy Bowie Giveaway Entry
This is your opportunity to win a one of a kind completely hand made custom knife. When you purchase this tutorial on how I did the carving on the handle of this big bowie you also are entered into the give away for the knife. Each of the tutorials give you an entry and you can purchase all three videos and get 3 entries into the giveaway. When the giveaway is completely filled up I will make a video picking the winning random name from the bowl. Good luck and enjoy the video!
The videos are a 3 part series on how to make a full tang integral from forging to handle making like the one in the pictures.
This knife was forged from W1 tool steel and I heat treated it with clay on the blade to create this beautiful pattern that you see on the blade called a Hamon. I hand sanded the blade and carefully etched and polished it to bring out the design showing the boundaries of hard and soft steel. The handle is sculpted from African Blackwood and has been hand carved as you will see in the video with ivy vines and stippled to give texture. I also made a vertical belt sheath because this knife isn’t just beautiful but also functional and can be used it desired for beating your way through the bush.
When you purchase this you are buying the video and not the giveaway entry. The giveaway is an added bonus at no extra cost and is therefore NOT a raffle.
